The Google Messaging app is an app that many Android users use as their default SMS app. This application is updated regularly and introduces new features. One feature that we’ve been using in the application for a few months is SMS scheduling.
With Google Messaging, users on Android can schedule an SMS. So if you want someone to receive this message at a specific time, they can schedule it to be sent at a specific time or date so they don’t have to worry about taking action at that specific time.
Schedule SMS to be sent in Google Messaging
This feature is similar to scheduling an email in Gmail. Both the way it works and the UI share certain similarities, which shouldn’t be surprising as both are Google applications.
If you want to schedule a text message to be sent in Google Messaging, all you need to do is have the latest version of the application installed on your Android smartphone. The steps we need to follow in this case are:
Open Google Messaging on your smartphone. Go to the conversation where you want to schedule this message. Write the SMS. After writing, press and hold the send icon. You will see a box for you to schedule shipping. When you send this SMS, you will see several suggestions at the top of the box. If you want to send on a different date, click Select date and time. Choose the date. Click next. Choose the time. Click on “Save”.

The steps are simple and as you can see, Google Messages has some suggestions with times to schedule this message to be sent. However, if you wish you can choose a different date or time at which the SMS should be sent to this person.
The user interface is easy to use. Let us know what you think in the comments.
